This place has been around forever! Great service, nice prices, amazing food. Make sure you try there minchila one of the best I've had.

The ambience here is so inviting. We were across the street at a car auction and decided to kill time and eat somewhere. Last time we went to the auction we went tams and it was disgusting. So we tried Mexico 1900. I must say, the food here is DELICIOUS! The service could have been a little better but I will definitely be back. I ordered the cubed steak with rice n beans and it was GREEEEAAAAATTT. My hubby ordered the steak plate with rice n beans and he enjoyed it also. The pricing here is a little expensive, HOWEVER , the amount of food you get is WELL WORTH THE PRICE PAID. Thanks Mexico 1900. See you again soon.

Service was bad, food was not authentic Mexican. Throwing a bunch of cheddar cheese on everything is not Mexican good.

Came here for lunch.The decor was outdated and the servers were lifeless. The hostess was acting very odd and had a "how dare you come in" look on her face.My carnitas taco was okay. There were too many chunks of fat which I had to pick out to truly enjoy it. It wasn't the most flavorful. I wouldn't come back here. The food didn't seem authentic.

Went for birthday margaritas which are excellent here. The hostess didn't want to allow us in tne bar area. Which they do Everytime I go here. But the margaritas are so good its worth dealing with this. She told me & my daughter you can drink margaritas at a table. It's always an uncomfortable feeling with this.

Place smells dirty as you walk in, but my fault for ignoring this fact and all the other garring hints this was about to be one of my worst dining experiences. It smelled like mildew. Menus dirty, tables dirty, decor outdated, service bad. Not only are they slow but forgetful. They had to ask me to repeat my order a minute after I had placed it. Food not good at all. Tortilla chips stale, rest of food bad too. I don't know how this place is in business. Average prices, it's not as if it's cheap. The drinks weren't even good. A complete disappointment, what made it even worse was that I had taken my dad to celebrate his birthday. I was so embarrassed. Sorry dad, never again! I can't believe how many good reviews this place has!???

So disappointed in this place. Pictures look good, but food is so bland. Ordered the streak and shrimp and everything was disappointing. The best tasting thing I received was their salsa. And I'm pretty sure it's pace or tostitos brand canned salsa. Honestly, I'm never going back to eat here.

The outside of this restaurant is under construction, it's dusty and dirty but the food was pretty good. The service was fast and friendly. I'm from South Pasadena just happen to pass by. Excellent customer service delicious Mexican food to indulge for lunch or dinner. With family or friends and have fun. If I'm ever near La Mirada I will stop by and try their delicious Mexican food.

Absolutely delicious food!!! Such a nice beautiful setting. Friendly staff always on top of refills and anything else needed at the table. They also have a large dining area for parties or big groups

Tonight the salsa was almost perfect with that nice kick of heat. The chicken tacos were so good and the beans were delicious. The margaritas were awesome as usual. The staff always takes care of us.

I love this restaurant. Went on a Saturday afternoon before the dinner crowd. I ordered Milanesa and a Cadillac Margarita. The beans were soooo good with melted cheese, the meat was perfect and the portion was generous. Service was awesome and one drink gave me a nice lil buzz. I love this place! This was my first time trying the food here and I'm speechless! It's super good and affordable. I got a number 1 and was pleasantly surprised. The food is phenomenal and so is the service. There was no wait and the service was excellent. Even the cup of water was great. Chips and salsa are complimentary and the soup is awesome. Better service than other Mexican food places around. Always get in without a problem . taco plate is really good. Chips and salsa on the table. Good margaritas. Can even get it togo. Recent face-lift of shopping center . Good atmosphere. Good wait staff. Fair prices.
